Volunteers in School
At William Law CE Primary School, we greatly value the contribution of volunteers in enhancing the educational experience of our pupils. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting learning within the classroom, accompanying school trips, and assisting with events. Their involvement helps us to maximise learning opportunities for all children.
Children benefit enormously from the encouragement and guidance provided by adults, and they thoroughly enjoy engaging in learning activities with this additional support. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, pupils are able to access a wider range of enriching experiences on a regular basis. Working with children is a rewarding experience, and their enthusiasm is truly inspiring.
Please note that volunteers who regularly assist in school will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Work Experience Placements
We are committed to supporting work experience opportunities; however, we believe it is important for Year 10 and Year 11 students to gain experience in a school setting that is new to them. This ensures they encounter a fresh environment and broaden their perspective. For this reason, we are unable to offer Year 10 and Year 11 placements to former William Law pupils.
We do, however, welcome previous pupils in Year 12 and Year 13 for both work experience and volunteering opportunities.
