Y5 compared two places of Christian worship - Kingsgate and the Salvation Army. We learnt about why prayer is so beneficial, the advantages of music and how both follow Jesus’ teachings by looking after their ‘neighbour’ and helping the community

Year 1 Experiencing a Baptism with Reverend Sue Fear

RE with Y1. Today Reverend Sue led a baptism service to start our new RE topic - How are babies welcomed? After hearing how Jesus was baptised the vicar talked about the importance of the shell, oil, water and candle. Thank you Reverend Sue as we learnt so much from your visit.
