WHAT HAVE WE BEEN UP TO!

In the Autumn term we learnt all about the Victorians and went on an exciting trip to Burghley house to help us learn about this topic. We got to dress up as Victorians as well! To help us learn more about the past we also had a visit from the Punch and Judy show whch made us laugh a lot. We were also the first class of the year to do our assembly and also got to perform our Christmas concert.

In the Spring term, we were learning about Electricity and have had the recycling bus come to visit us to help us make a lighthouse with a working circuit. We also enjoyed writing our own stories inspired by the Lighthouse books by Ronda and David Armitage.

We have also studied the topic on Australia and have looking at Aborigional dreamtime stories. We have also been writng to our friend Shannon Hellet who left out colass to meve to Australia.

This term, Summer term, we are beginning the look at animals in our local environment.

Take a look at our pictures and videos to see more closely what we have been up to.
