None – this is the first meeting this school year.

First thing we are going to talk about:

Introducing the new School Council

Job descriptions and training packs.

Electing the chairperson, secretary, treasurer and vice chair.

Badges

Archie and Aarti to ask Mrs Tegala about badges.

Every rep was given a training pack and notebook to write down their ideas.

Second thing we are going to talk about:

Charities

Which local, national and global charity do we want to support this year?

ACTION TAKEN

Lots of charities suggested (Dog’s Trust, Guide dogs, Peterborough Food Bank, Cancer Research, Macmillan, Anna’s Hope, Shine, NSPCC, Thorpe Hall, Little Miracles, Stronger Together). We will put them into a hat and draw out one local and one national charity in addition to our global charity we already support (Water Aid).

Third thing we are going to talk about:

Fair Trade tuck shop – make a new rota.

Organise children to write a newsletter to parents (charity work and tuck shop).

ACTION TAKEN

New rota made and will be displayed on School Council board.
